Abstract

Early Child Development and the importance of Early Learning and Development Standards for children from 0~6.
The first six years of life are critical to a child s lifelong development Young children ’s earliest experiences and environments set the stage for future development and success in school and life. Early experiences actually influence brain developmet, establishing the neural connections that provide the foundation for language, reasoning, problemsolving, social skills, behaviour and emotional health. Families and communities play critical roles in halping children get ready for school. Children ’s development su ffers when their early learning and care experiences lack nurturing and not provide appropriate social, language and cognitive stimulation. Standard movement is now being extended to early and preschool education(standard based education or standard based approach). Early childhood education has become part of standard based environment describing desired results, outcomes or learning expectation for children below age of 6.
Early learning and development stapdars sefleçt what children krcw and are able to do. They are a set of state, nenfs tr\at inform various audiences about children ’s behavioral accomplishments. Early learning and, development standars can be used in variety of ways.
