From the end of the Xlllth Century and in the first half of the XIVth Century, in the framework of Polog's zhoupa (жоупл Положкл)^ that time under Serbian rule, available sources notes down seven local officials with their competences: севлсти (sevasts)-a.) probate court member, b.) court withnesses; πρ^χτορΒ (prahtor)-tax-collector; кме^в (knez)-deputy kephale or village head administrator; винлрв (vinar)-vine tax-collector; трлвмичдрв (travnichar)-grass land tax-collector; кефллш (kephale)-“general“ kephale, head of the administrative authority in the zhoupa Polog; челмикв (tzelnik)-few villages head administrator.
