Abstract

In the first half of the twentieth century, the original pedagogical conception of the French pedagogue Célestin Freinet was created. As a representative of the reform pedagogy, Freinet expressed his own attitudes and practical solutions in the attempt to overcome the drawbacks of the then school- subject system. He introduced the development of his pedagogical conception from the very first work day in his school. His ideas were not only accepted by the larger part of the expert public in his day, but today they are also perceived as open and suitable for support to the educational process by numerous followers over the whole world.
