The Republic of Macedoniea is a good example for a multiethnic, multiculcutral and multiconfessional country where do exsist different cultures, nationalities and religious communities. It is a place where the different cultures and religions are mixed. Heaving such a diversity, it is unavoidable to pose the question about the functioning of the different ethnic groups and religious organisations, or is there a cooperation and coherence between the different communities. Furthermore, which are those criterias and mechanisms that contribute in order to have a stable
positive cooperation. In practice and the present experience show that the main contributing mechanisms in order to strengthen the cooperation between the different religions and to overcome the negative appearances which are doubtless part of our eveiy-day-life, are those religious values which are part of the theological studies of the big and
universal religious systems. In our country, the Christianity and the Islam as dominant religions, contain and proclaim values which undoubtedly influence the cooperation in a positive way, and they advise their believers to communicate with the members of the other religions. Those religions are big ethical systems. During their proclamation of tolerance as one of the main values, these religions play a big role concerning the stability in the country.
