Abstract

The subject of this paper is the ecological orientation of the students. An empirical research had been done in June 2007 on a sample of 710 examined students at 7 faculties in the Republic of Macedonia in the framework of the project named „ Modernisation and identity of the students' population in the Republic of Macedonia ”. In this research had been used a scale of 12 states of Likert’s type. The research confirmed the presence of three empirical ecological orientations : ecologism/naturalism, as a dominant, technicism as an expressed and anthropocentrism as
completely less observed (orientation). The orientations have been obtained on the basis ofpercent acceptance of the states that are characterized for each of them.
