Aim and scope:
Ревија за социјална политика/Journal of Social Policy aims to contribute towards raising critical public and academic debates on social policy issues, relevant at the local, national, regional, and international level. It publishes original articles in the English language in all areas of social policy. The Journal encompasses themes and topics related to the labor market, living standards, social protection, social insurance, education, health, housing, family policy, social assistance, social transfers, poverty and social exclusion, anti-discrimination, etc. Accepted will be all innovative articles, research articles, analyses of policies, practices, and their implications for social policy. Studies with a comparative dimension or those reflecting the relevance of the studied topic for other contexts and geographical areas are encouraged.

Research Papers, Survey Papers, Informative Articles, Case Studies, Review Papers, Comparative Studies, and Dissertation Chapters.
History of the Journal:
Ревија за социјална политика/Journal of Social Policy was established in 2008. The rationale behind its creation was the necessity of filling in the gaps in Macedonia's scientific, critical, and evidence-based social policy analysis and creation since 1985. Namely, the School for Social Workers in Skopje published a periodical from 1973 to 1985 under the name "Social policy: magazine for theory and practice". The magazine, which began publication in four issues per year and eventually increased to six, with a circulation of 1,500 copies, played a noteworthy role in the "treatment and lighting of numerous issues and problems in the field of social politics" and received a "positive response among the appropriate social and professional structures in the Republic (in the then Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia)". Twenty years later, Ревијa за социјална политика/Journal of Social Policy, sought to accomplish the same objectives, albeit in significantly different socioeconomic contexts.
During the period 2008-2011, the Ревија за социјална политика/Journal of Social Policy was published only in Macedonian language. From 2012 to 2021 Ревија за социјална политика/Journal of Social Policy was published in a bi-lingual Macedonian and English edition. Since 2022 the papers in the journal are published either in the English language or in the Macedonian language (with abstracts in English). During the period 2008-2014, the journal was published jointly by the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation. Since 2015 the sole publisher of the Ревија за социјална политика/Journal of Social Policy is Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Faculty of Philosophy. DOI for each published issue and article has been assigned since 2013.
