Abstract

The role of connectors in the pragmatic coherence of the text is discussed in this article. An overview inventory of connectors in the Macedonian and Polish languages is given followed by a review of their equivalents. The translation of the connectors in both directions is analyzed and some differences are noted. The appearance of additional connectors in the translation process, which are not present in the original text draws a special focus in the article.
