Abstract

Society of Disabled People of Macedonia, Association of Special Teachers of Macedonia and Institute for Special Education and Rehabilitation at the Faculty of Philosophy held a formal assembly on the occasion of the World Day of Disabled People – “3 December” on 2 December 2004.
After playing the anthem of the Republic of Macedonia, the meeting was opened by Mr. Tripun Atanasovski, the president of the Society of Disabled People. A report by Miss Aleksandra Micevska, a student at the Institute for Special Education and Rehabilitation was presented about the importance of the World Day of Disabled People – “3 December”. Three brief reports were presented at the meeting:

  • Trifun Atanasovski on a theme “Nothing for us without us”;
  • Branislav Jovanovski on a theme “About the start of disabled people in the Olympic year 2004”;
  • Chedomir Trajkovski on a theme “What is happening with our rights?”
