Abstract

Quality seedling enables timely obtaining of the product ready for sale and achieving high quality of the products. Hence, it is estimated that examination of the impact of some substrates on the quality of the flower culture is of high importance for the total production. In order to determine the impact of some substrates on the quality of Petunia Hybrida Grandiflora Hort., two-year examinations were conducted. Two types of substrates were used: Floradur B fine and B Floradur special, a product of the German company Floragard. As a control treatment a substrate which is traditionally utilized and prepared in Public Company "Parkovi i zelenilo" – Skopje was used.
