Abstract

From each cow during the colostral period, there is some sufficient colostral milk which ought to be conserved. Frosening of the sufficient colostral milk is one of the most practical and useful method of conservation. Calves are accepting the conserved colostral milk very good, conservation loozings of its quality are very low. This calf food is without any additional finantial investment (with no money) and reduce the calf mortality. Longer frosening of colostral milk more than 6 months is no recommended. This method of conservation is very useful for bigger farms, as well as for smaller farms too, where we do not have cow deliverings every day.
