Abstract

Perennials are resistant and hardy grassy plants that provide huge diversity in the garden. They are popular flowers offering large varieties of colors, shapes, and long flowering period and possibilities for successful cultivation on different locations. The goal of this article is better knowledge and the advantages of perennials. This large group of plants includes different plants still not spread in use with us. In this article from the large group of perennials only several are mentioned and classified according to their decorative characteristics such as high, color of the flower and according of their needs for development and growth. The basic principles for selection of the appropriate varieties for flower beds are presented. Attending the track for selection and grouping of perennials the result could be, beautiful and colorful garden easy for maintaining. The article is prepared by reviewing large number of literature dealing with perennials
