Afther the holding of the first church national concil im March 1945, the issue for election of bishop for the eparchies in NR Macedonia was put forwart as very important. The issue was exceptionally complex due to not having appropriate staff in NR Macedonia, as well as because of the severe resistance of the Serbian Orthodox Church and its demand that the bishop who ruled the eparchies im Macedonia until april 1941 return to Macedonija. The issue remained opened until 1958, when the Second church national concil elected the first bishops in NR Macedonia after the World War Two. Their ordination was carried out in the next year 1959, which was also attended bu the Serbian Patriarch German of the that time. The issue about the election of bishops in the NR Macedonian eparchies was monitored by the state and parties structures, which sometimes had decisive influence od certain staff issues.
