The editorial board consists of:

The first issue of the journal was published on 13.03.1995 under the title Literary Context as a popularization of the scientific research of the Department of Literary Theory and Comparative Literature at the Institute of Macedonian Literature. The founders of the journal are the then employees of the department: Aleksandar Prokopiev, Anastasia Gjurchinova and Sonja Stojmenska-Elzeser. In the first years, the magazine was published irregularly and the editorial staff varied: the first two issues were edited by the three founders, the third issue was edited by Gjurchinova and Prokopiev, while the fourth issue was edited by Stojmenska-Elzeser and Prokopiev. The fifth, sixth and seventh issues were edited by: Stojmenska-Elzeser, Prokopiev and Natasha Avramovska.
